Meet 818 Villa's hosts, Irine and John. Irine hails from the beautiful island of Java, Indonesia, but has called New York home for over 25 years. John, born and raised in New York, has always felt a deep connection to the energy of the city and the tranquility of the water. After spending years living near Long Island’s shore, we knew that our dream villa had to be a reflection of our unique backgrounds and experiences.

The name, 818, is inspired by a special date, a tribute that symbolizes the heart, spirit and energy behind our vision and the guide for everything we do here.

Our villa is a blend of influences from the places and cultures that have shaped our lives. Each bedroom tells its own story, from the calming, earthy tones of our Javanese-inspired room to the urban vibe of our Brooklyn and New York City themed suite. The coastal elegance of our Hampton -inspired retreat offers a peaceful escape, while our surfer and boho villa brings a laid-back, free-spirited vibe. Inspired by John's love for martial arts and his black belt achievement, our Japanese room reflects the discipline, harmony, and minimalistic beauty of traditional Japanese design.
